Brian brings us the forecast this week and along with it more good news. We have mild and sunny weather for February and our streams are looking perfect right now from the recent rain and snow melt. Trout fishing will be good through this stable weather period. Anglers should have plenty of nymphs, small streamers, split shot, indicators, and a few small dry flies handy in the event a hatch comes off. The spring creeks are full of water right now and upper South, Mossy Creek, Beaver Creek, and Buffalo are fishing well. Susie Q was just stocked again today and the water conditions look beautiful! The bass fishing will be better as the larger rivers have dropped and cleaned up significantly from last week. Warming temps should get the bass and musky moving around a bit more as we approach the end of the week. Keep an eye on the DWR site as they continue to stock the streams and lakes around the State. If you are a fair weather angler and have not fished much in the winter months you should give it a try! With sunny weather in the 60's later in the week it will feel more like late April than February and the best part is you don't have to deal with the crowds of spring! Check out the video for all the details, check out the flies below, and enjoy the wonderful week ahead!
